We’re really excited to share that we presented Sailors’ Children’s Society with a cheque for an incredible £2,702.20 on our final home game of the season in the playoffs against the Telford Tigers, raised through the auction and raffle of a limited edition Sailors’ Children’s Society jersey worn on Sunday 15th February against MK Lightning.

This fantastic amount will go towards supporting children and families from seafaring backgrounds who are facing financial crisis, making a real difference when it’s needed most.

Rhiannon Beeson, Head of Fundraising and Marketing at Sailors’ Children’s Society, said:
We’re so grateful to the Seahawks for their continued support and for creating such a special initiative. The funds raised will directly support families who are facing incredibly difficult circumstances, helping us provide stability, practical support and hope for the future.

Callum Gladding, Commercial Manager at Hull Seahawks, added:
We’re proud to support Sailors’ Children’s Society and the important work they do. It’s fantastic to see Hull and fans across the UK take part and raise such a brilliant amount through the jersey raffle and auction and we’re delighted to be able to play a part in supporting families who need it most.

We are already looking ahead with plans to raise even more money through a charity golf day on Friday 14th August at Burstwick Golf Club.

Any businesses or companies can get involved by contacting commercial@hullseahawks.co.uk to find out more with a two course meal provided and a great day out in the sun for just £250 per team!

A huge thank you to everyone involved.
