The Hull Seahawks are delighted to announce the signing of physical defenceman, Bobby Streetly for the 2022/23 season.
28 years old and fan favourite wherever he goes, Streetly has iced in Leeds for the past two years for local rivals the Leeds Chiefs and Leeds Knights. Bobby was named one of the assistant captains on the roster last season for the Leeds Knights playing an important role on and off the ice, guiding the Knights to 4th in the table. The 6’2″ man isn’t known for his mass point scoring but he does have the game IQ to put his stick and body in the way to frustrate the opposition.
Bobby had this to say about joining the Seahawks for the upcoming season, “Super excited to be joining the Seahawks for the new season. Matty and the guys look like they are building a top class organisation and it’s something I can’t wait to get started with. I’m a defensive minded dman who will play tough in my own end, I will stick up for my team mates as always put them first, while hopefully chipping in with some points along the way.
I can’t wait to get challenging for trophy’s and see you all in September!”
