The Hull Seahawks can confirm that forward Cameron Hamill has requested to leave the club with immediate effect, which the club has accepted.
Cam requested to be released due to struggling to adapt living away from home, we’ve tried to support him the best we can to help him settle with unfortunately no luck. We fully respect Cam’s wishes and we support him in this decision he has made.
We would like to thank our #7 for everything he’s done in a Seahawks jersey, with a very honourable mention as he scored the Seahawks very first franchise goal away against Leeds in the pre-season Yorkshire Cup. He is a character who will be missed on and off the ice with the energy he brings.
