For the 2022/23 season Hull Seahawks have partnered with Dunamis to produce our player shirts and merchandise. The connection with Dunamis was brought to us by our friends across at Blackburn Hawks and came highly recommended.
Alex Styles, Dunamis MD, commented, ‘It is a great honour to be working with the Hull Seahawks. We have been designing and producing bespoke ice hockey kits for seven years, so we are excited to bring our knowledge and experience towards creating a new kit for the club. I think we can all agree that there is nothing quite like seeing a fresh jersey on the ice for the first time.’
Hull GM Commercial, Ian Mowforth, has spent many hours looking for the right manufacturer. ‘We considered all options but the speed of response and commitment from Dunamis impressed us. We need great service and of course an inspirational shirt; I am greedy and I think we have both!’
Kit designs were mocked up in May and have undergone rigorous testing in terms of design and quality. ‘We wanted the shirt to be special because this is the rebirth of the Seahawks. Our focus was to honour the past but also aspire to something new and eye-catching. When the first designs landed in our inboxes we said ‘yes’ straight away.’
A shirt launch is to be announced tomorrow morning for when supporters will get their first glimpses of the new shirts and a chance to buy them. ‘We hope to have the cup and league shirts available to view for the launch. The colours may not come as a surprise but I think the designs will be on the button!’
Merchandise will also be supplied by Dunamis. ‘I am working hard with Joe and Matty to decide what merchandise to bring in. It feels weird looking at winter hats and clothing in the middle of summer but we have to order in advance.’
