Are you new to ice hockey and you’re not sure how the NIHL National League playoffs work? Lets explain..

The teams who finish the league season in positions 1-4-5-8 will be Group A, while teams in places 2-3-6-7 will form Group B.

Group A
Swindon Wildcats
Sheffield Steeldogs
Peterborough Phantoms
Romford Raiders

Group B
Hull Seahawks

Telford Tigers

Each team in each group will play each other once both home and away (total six games, three home and three away) over three weekends (27/28/29th March, 3/4/5th April & 10/11/12th April) to fight it out for a place at the Coventry Playoff Finals Weekend on the 18/19th April 2026.
