The Hull Seahawks are pleased to announce a formal partnership with the Hull Jets, the club’s NIHL Division 1.
This collaboration strengthens a shared commitment to player development, community engagement, and the creation of a clear and sustainable pathway through the ranks of British ice hockey.
Founded in 2013, the Hull Jets have become a cornerstone of ice hockey in the city, operating at the heart of a development structure that spans from the Kingston Sharks junior programme through to NIHL competition. In their second season in NIHL Division 1, the Jets recorded a winning campaign, improved their goal difference, and finished one place higher than the previous season, while also reaching the semi-finals of the cup. This continued upward trajectory makes the partnership a natural and exciting progression for both clubs.
As part of the partnership, the Seahawks and Jets are proud to highlight two players currently operating on two-way deals between the two organisations.
Will Durgan
Will Durgan is a 15-year-old centre standing at an impressive 6’1” and a product of the Kingston Sharks junior system. Already recognised for his exceptional play and dedication, Will has received both the Best Forward award and the Andy Daintith Head Coach Achievement Award at junior level. His offensive ability, maturity, and leadership on the ice exemplify the type of home-grown talent this partnership is designed to develop.
Aiden Dancer
Forward Aiden Dancer joined the Hull Jets in October 2025 from the Sheffield Scimitars, arriving with valuable NIHL experience already under his belt. At 19 years old, Aiden has featured regularly for the Jets, contributing offensively and establishing himself within the forward group. Notably, he also stepped up to feature for the Hull Seahawks during their playoff campaign, underlining both his ability and the purpose of the partnership in providing opportunities for progression.
This partnership reflects a shared vision of fostering athletic excellence, expanding development opportunities, and strengthening connections with fans and families across the region. Together, the Hull Seahawks and Hull Jets look forward to an exciting season ahead, on and off the ice, as both clubs continue to build for the future.
