We are pleased to welcome back to Hull, Jordan Fisher sponsored by Yorkshire Maintenance (Hull) Ltd.

Jordan is a familiar face to local fans having progressed through the junior development programme in Hull and previously played for Stingrays, where he played EIHL level.  He returned to the city in 2015 with the Pirates and was part of the legendary triple winning side of 2019.

Aged 28, Jordan is in the prime of his career and at 180cm/5’11 and 84kg/185lbs he is a nod to Matty Davies’ keenness to recruit players with physical presence on the ice.  ‘I have known Fish for years and last season we were at Leeds together.  He is a great guy in the changing room and on the ice he gives everything.  He has a massive passion for the game and wanted desperately to sign for the Seahawks.  Jordan will take a place in the forward where I respect his impact to break up play and get in the faces of the opposition.  He chips in with points and like several of the players I have already signed, he will drop the gloves when he needs to.’

Jordan, a popular player among fans, has already attracted a sponsor in Yorkshire Maintenance (Hull) Ltd.

It is clear now that the Seahawks are going along the route of a muscular physical side and Matty added, ‘I want a squad that will go toe-to-toe with every team in the league but which is also skilful.  I know that is asking a lot but I am greedy!  When you look at the team recruited so far, most have EIHL experience and several, including Dec and Emil, will fight when needed.  Opponents won’t look forward to coming to Hull.’

There will be new faces added to the roster and some familiar ones in the coming week.

If you to purchase Jordan’s own-and-load shirt, please contact the Seahawks via email or social media asap.
