Hull Seahawks are proud to announce that our star import forward, Emil Svec, has had his visa application approved by the Home Office. He arrived in the UK today and will dress for both of the this weekend’s games.
‘Emil’s arrival has allowed us to reset and start the climb towards a play-off place. That is still well within reach.’
Matt Davies added, ‘We never gave up on the lads and we’re definitely not giving up on a play-off spot. The teams above us have a few points in hand but I don’t care. None of them have a wide margin and once we get some wins under our belt we can start stepping up.’
Andrej Themar is still awaiting his visa but the approval of Emil provides reasonable grounds for hope that Hull’s second import will shortly follow.
