Hull Seahawks are holding a player trial on 16th June 2022, 22.15, at the Hull Arena. GM Sport and Head Coach, Matty Davies will be running the session along with his coaching team. He is looking to identify prospective players for the 2022/23 squad in addition to academy players. This is an open national invitation for experienced and younger players.
The session will involve participation in a game with a combined teams also featuring some Blackburn Hawks players.
Matty believes, ‘This is an exciting development for our team, which is looking to provide opportunities for national and local talent. I am looking to recruit experienced players for our 2022/23 squad but this is a great chance for younger players too, either to join the squad or our the Development Academy. It underlines mine and the clubs commitment to nurturing young players. They are the future of not just the Seahawks but also ice hockey in the UK.’
